VINTAGE SUNGLASSES & EYEGLASSES. I bought out a huge estate of eyeglasses from a former New York optician’s office that closed down many years ago. I will be posting many, many pairs of eyeglasses & sunglasses frames. I will do my best to measure and give a condition of each pair. Frame size – 44/22 Measured in mm. 44mm eye size, 22mm bridge size. Temple length – 147mm. Hinge to hinge – 123mm. Full front width – temple to temple – 134mm. Inside lens height – 32mm. Top to bottom frame height – 39mm. CONDITION: These are NOS. The arms on these “jut out” as shown in pic 10 so they would need to be reshaped when the lens are installed unless you have a larger head. They are new old stock and can be made to hold your prescription lens at any vintage-friendly optical lens shop. Most vintage frames will require heat adjusting when lens are installed. Sometimes vintage frames may appear uneven but this will also be corrected during lens installation. We strive for excellent customer service so please message us with any questions.
