Rare Vintage Authentic 1989 Cartier Panthere Lunette Eye Glasses Model 56-17. These glasses are in Very Good condition. The frames on the glasses are gold and platinum plated. The rims around the lens are green in color. There are no cracks, breaks or repairs in the frame or rims of the glasses. The lenses are nice with no scratches. The lenses are prescription strength. I do not know what the strength of the prescription but the lenses can be easily replaced. The ear tips have a maroon colored covering with a gold Cartier badge on each tip. The glasses are marked – 1989, Cartier, 56, hallmark, 17, Cartier, Paris, Made in France, 135. The serial number on the glasses is E035667.
