70s/80s vtg nos FRENCH EYEGLASS FRAMES Gold Silver Carved Jeweled BUTTERFLY WING. This is totally fabulous pair of vintage hand made in France black acrylic eyeglass frames. They are unused old stock display eyeglass frames with a butterfly wing surrounding each lens opening and antennae in the center. The wings are delicately carved and etched with a texture and painted gold and silver. They have inset smoky gray rhinestones at side edge of each lens opening and on ends of antennae. These gray crystals sparkle and almost look like marcasites. Inside from hinge to hinge they are 5-1/2″, and outside from end to end they are 8-1/2″ wide. Not only are they oversized, the they are large, made to fit a bigger face and head. These have no lenses and never did.
