Antique French Sun Goggles Celluloid & Leather Driving Aviator Goggles with Case

Antique French “Sun Goggles” Celluloid & Leather Driving Aviator Goggles w/ Case. Retains original tin case. Leather side cups & tin case are marked SUN GLASSES MADE IN FRANCE. Lenses are tinted yellow. Front of glasses are celluloid. Front of glasses measures 4 7/8″ in length and 1 15/16″ in height. The arms of glasses measures 4 1/8 in length. The goggles are in great condition with just some light oxidation to brass grommets on leather. I’m sure the oxidation could be removed if cleaned properly. One of the arms has a slight bend to it. There are some scratches and wear to case. Case a couple of small spots of oxidation. The tin case may have really helped preserve the goggles because the leather is in surprisingly excellent condition.
