Black & White 50s Feather Cateye Mod Vintage French Eyeglasses Sunglasses Frame

A vintage deadstock unused French eyeglasses/ sunglasses frame (no lenses). Has layers of clear, white and black plastic (presumably lucite) and then carved with motifs evocative of feathers which expose these layers. Across front, outward facing approx 5.8″ (147mm), across front at interior at outside edge of hinge to outside edge of hinge approx 4.7″ (120 mm), length from front edge to end of stem approx 5.6″ (143 mm), length from hinge to crook of stem approx 3.9″ (100mm). Condition is excellent with light wear from storage. Please note that the pair offered is not the one in the photos but an identical pair from the same new-old stock.
