Vintage Cartier 140 48 22 gold brushed ginger octagonal eyeglasses. Crafted in France during the 1980s, these original frames feature a geometric look that is both unique and timeless. Left temple circled C, Cartier Paris. Right temple: 140 Made in France. Each temple tip marked with gold Cartier. Right temple end piece (underside) marked w 7 digits (3400328). Each nosepiece (yellowed) is marked with a circled c gold plate underneath. These have been worn and are prescription lenses (which can be replaced). In 1985 Cartier began marking glasses with “ce” which was the European standard of production. These are marked with “ce” on temple piece. This is not the original carrying case. It fits a bit big for these glasses. These originally came in a black Cartier eyeglass Carrier which I will send if you ask. It is very worn and coming apart, as shown. (Last 3 photos) Comes with black cloth bag, cleaning cloth and new Cartier red eyeglass case. These have been worn but still in excellent condition.
