VINTAGE SUNGLASSES & EYEGLASSES. I bought out a huge estate of eyeglasses from a former New York optician’s office that closed down many years ago. I will be posting many, many pairs of eyeglasses & sunglasses frames. I will do my best to measure and give a condition of each pair. Italy – 44/20 (really thick horn rim with no studs showing on front OR on the arms). Mexico 46/24 (really thick horn rim with triple round front studs – the hinges are rusty). Baruffaldi – Frame Italy 46/22 (straight brow frames – some hinge rust). 52 – Andy-2 by HOC – no size markings (oversized, almost butterfly shape). Tart Optical (symbol stamped) 6 1/4 – 46/22 triple round front studs – hinges are rough/rusty and areas of the frames are cloudy – unsure if this can be cleaned/buffed? THE BIG WEST S/O/I – 48/22 (thicker rectangular frames). If you are purchasing to get one pair, PLEASE DON’T. These lots are for resellers and vintage eyeglasses stores.
