Black & Gold 50s Feather Cateye Mod Vintage French Eyeglasses Sunglasses Frame

A vintage deadstock unused French eyeglasses/ sunglasses frame (no lenses). Has layers of a mellow champagne gold (appears to me to have a slightly greenish cast) and black plastic (presumably lucite) and then carved with motifs evocative of feathers which expose these layers. Across front, outward facing approx 5.8″ (147mm), across front at interior at outside edge of hinge to outside edge of hinge approx 4.7″ (120 mm), length from front edge to end of stem approx 5.4″ (137 mm), length from hinge to crook of stem approx 4.3″ (110mm).
