This is an attractive pair of vintage 15ct gold and faux toroiseshell lorgnettes c. 1920s – not stamped but test for 15ct – lenses in good condition stamped on the bridge with French makers mark “SL ” either side of a candelabra and the word “Double” on the bridge – opens and closes ok and weighs a total of 29.4 grams – any white marks on lenses are just reflections. There is a black cord attached so could be worn around the neck. They also come with the original retailers case showing J. Lazars of 101 & 107 Buchanan Street, Glasgow on lid.
