VINTAGE SUNGLASSES & EYEGLASSES. I bought out a huge estate of eyeglasses from a former New York optician’s office that closed down many years ago. I will be posting many, many pairs of eyeglasses & sunglasses frames. I will do my best to measure and give a condition of each pair. Frame size – 46/21 Measured in mm. 46mm eye size, 21mm bridge size. Temple length – 145mm. Hinge to hinge – 118mm. Full front width – temple to temple – 128mm. Inside lens height – 32mm. Top to bottom frame height – 38mm. CONDITION: These are NOS. These frames have no noticeable issues except some slight oxidation at the hinges. They are new old stock and can be made to hold your prescription lens at any vintage-friendly optical lens shop. Most vintage frames will require heat adjusting when lens are installed.
